Senior Financial Analyst — External Reporting Team

Role Overview

The External Reporting team is responsible for supporting Medtronic’s public company reporting and compliance obligations. The team partners closely with Global Controllership, Global Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Treasury, Tax, Compensation & Benefits, and business finance teams to prepare external filings, financial disclosures, and audit-related deliverables while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and reporting standards.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, External Reporting, you will support the preparation and review of external reporting and regulatory filings while partnering across the organization to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial disclosures. You will contribute to key reporting processes, financial analyses, audit support activities, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of accounting or finance experience OR advanced degree and 2+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial controls
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Public accounting, corporate, or industry accounting experience
• Experience preparing, supporting, or reviewing financial reporting and disclosure
• Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Experience with Workiva, OneStream, or other financial reporting or consolidation systems
