The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Sales Operations Manager, National Accounts to serve as the operational backbone of our U.S. sales organization.

This role will partner closely with the National Accounts and Sales Leadership teams to drive forecasting accuracy, inventory health, and executional excellence across mass, specialty, and off-price retailers.

As a central member of the commercial organization, this individual will translate strategic sales objectives into disciplined operating plans, ensuring sustainable, profitable growth across all major accounts.

This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, requiring four days per week in-office. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Planning & Forecasting

  • Own rolling sales forecasts by account, SKU, and channel in partnership with National Account Managers and Finance.
  • Develop launch, promotional, and replenishment models to support growth and minimize risk.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and proactively address variances.

National Accounts Operational Support

  • Serve as the primary operational partner to Account Managers supporting Target, Walgreens, CVS, Macy’s, TJX, Ross, and other key accounts.
  • Manage order flow, allocations, and replenishment planning across retailers.
  • Support line reviews, joint business planning, and account presentations with data-driven insights.

Inventory & Supply Chain Alignment

  • Translate demand plans into actionable production and inventory strategies.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to optimize inventory levels, lead times, and service rates.
  • Mitigate stockout, overstock, and obsolescence risk.

Business Reporting & Performance Management

  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking sales, POS, in-stock rates, weeks of cover, and sell-through.
  • Analyze trends, risks, and opportunities to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Provide regular performance updates to Sales and Executive teams.

Promotions, Pricing & Margin Management

  • Track promotional calendars, discounts, and contra activity.
  • Analyze promotional ROI and margin impact by account and program.
  • Support pricing and assortment decisions to protect profitability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Brand, and Retail Marketing teams.
  • Ensure alignment between commercial strategy, operational execution, and brand priorities.
  • Act as a key liaison between field sales and internal operations.

Process & Systems Optimization

  • Own and improve sales operations workflows, tools, and reporting systems.
  • Support ERP, demand planning, and BI tool utilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting, and execution processes.

Retail Readiness & Compliance

  • Ensure all retailer requirements (EDI, item setup, logistics, compliance, chargebacks) are met accurately and on time.
  • Support audit readiness and operational best practices across accounts.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5–7 years in Sales Operations, Commercial Planning, or Revenue Operations within beauty, personal care, CPG, or consumer brands.
  • Channel Exposure: Experience supporting major mass, specialty, and/or off-price national accounts.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; strong data modeling and analytical capabilities.
  • Systems Experience: Familiarity with ERP, forecasting, CRM, and BI platforms.
  • Executional Rigor: Highly detail-oriented with strong project and process management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; proven ability to partner cross-functionally.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of retail economics, margin drivers, and inventory dynamics.
  • Location: Los Angeles (Hollywood HQ) — 4 days per week in-office.
  • Travel: Occasional travel for retailer meetings, line reviews, and internal planning sessions.

Benefits & Compensation

Benchmark Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000 base salary annually, commensurate with experience. Total compensation may include performance-based bonus and other incentives.
