We’re seeking a Finance Operations Manager to lead the Financial Operations team for all UK Financial Service businesses. The successful candidate will provide financial information to Head Office, Auditors, HMRC, and the Business, and support the submission of data into head office. The role will involve managing the preparation and delivery of internal monthly financial statements, supporting the external audit process, and staff development and performance management.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent professional exams
- Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (UK GAAP & IFRS)
- Some VAT and tax knowledge
- Excel (advanced level) with experience of using a variety of functions
- SAP (good knowledge would be advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve results
- Flexible and able to multi-task to meet specified deadlines
- A strong team player with the ability to learn tasks quickly and make appropriate decisions
