Role Overview

The Data Engineering Team supports Meta products by delivering the best data foundation that drives impact through informed decision making. The team collaborates with software engineering, data science, and product management to optimize growth, strategy, and experience for users and the internal employee community.

What You Will Do

As a Data Engineer, you will work on large-scale projects, conceptualize and own data architecture, build cross-functional relationships, and determine and implement security models. You will also design and launch sophisticated data models and visualizations, solve challenging data integration problems, and optimize pipelines and dashboards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
  • 12+ years of experience in the data warehouse space
  • 12+ years of experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
  • 12+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages
  • 12+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
  • 12+ years of experience in authoring SQL statements
