Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at Metrobank, you will contribute to building an end-to-end pioneer data science and advanced analytics team, working on significant data projects that help shape the future of the bank. You will gain exposure to intricacies and dependencies of data operations and machine learning models in a highly regulated environment.

What You Will Do

Support new data-driven initiatives by using sound statistical supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques, help pioneer the bank’s machine learning models, and refine data science problem statements.

Requirements

• Education and experience in a data-heavy field
• Good understanding of the theory behind machine learning models
• Prior experience as data analyst or data scientist
• Proficiency in analytics and data visualization tools
• Programming experience (SQL, SAS Script, R, or Python)
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with various analytical and technical teams
