Data Scientist

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will help transform complex business challenges into data-driven solutions that create measurable business value. You will design, develop and evaluate machine learning, optimization and AI-based solutions, taking ideas from initial hypotheses and experimentation through to scalable, production-ready capabilities.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for managing experimentation portfolios and model inventories, assessing experiment outcomes and recommending the next steps, whether that means further refinement, MVP development or full-scale deployment.

Requirements

• A Master’s or PhD degree in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another similar discipline.
• Strong expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, optimization methods and mathematical modelling.
• Experience in hypothesis-driven problem solving, experimentation and business case evaluation.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and experience with data science libraries and SQL.
• Deep understanding of Databricks ML and AI capabilities and modern cloud-based data science environments.
• Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure cloud services and version control tools such as Azure DevOps Repos.
• Experience in automating development and coding tasks via AI based tools like Genie Code, GitHub Copilot or similar.
• The ability to communicate complex analytical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
