Role Overview
The Data Engineer will work closely with quants, portfolio managers, risk managers, and other engineers to develop data-intensive and multi-asset analytics for the firm’s Fixed Income, Risk, and Commodities businesses. The role requires a dynamic and fast-paced environment focused on leveraging innovations in technology and data science to solve complex problems for the business.
What You Will Do
The Data Engineer will gather requirements and user feedback, provide expertise and guidance on database platforms, define and enforce database standards, review and upgrade database maintenance processes, and work closely with DevOps engineers to build AI-powered tools and automation.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or another scientific field.
- 2+ years of experience in data/database engineering, database administration, or a related role.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational database technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud data platforms and services in AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience with modern data warehouse, analytics, and distributed processing technologies.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data quality, schema evolution, metadata management, and data governance practices.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI services and LLMs into data workflows.
- Proficiency working in Unix/Linux environments with scripting or programming languages such as Python or Java.
