Role Overview
The Director, Sales Operations — Americas is a senior leadership role responsible for the operational effectiveness, productivity, and go-to-market efficiency of Mitel’s sales organization across the USA, Canada, and CALA (Caribbean and Latin America). The role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering directly with Americas Sales Leadership to drive performance through world-class processes, data-driven insight, and operational rigor.
What You Will Do
The Director will lead sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes across the Americas region, design and own the equitable allocation of sales quotas, and attend and actively contribute to ELT forecast reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or commercial leadership within enterprise B2B technology
- Proven track record leading analytically complex Sales Operations or Revenue Operations initiatives with demonstrable business impact
- Deep expertise in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), sales analytics, and operational tooling
- Strong experience in quota design, territory modelling, and go-to-market coverage optimization
- Experience managing or overseeing formal bid and deal approval processes in an enterprise B2B environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage channel partner relationships and enforce rules of engagement in a direct/indirect sales model
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills — able to influence and present confidently at all organizational levels
- Strong understanding of the business landscapes, partner ecosystems, and commercial practices across the USA, Canada, and CALA, with the ability to adapt global processes to local market requirements
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred, with Portuguese and French considered an advantage for coverage of CALA and Canada
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams across multiple markets and time zones in a matrixed, international organization; prior experience in UCaaS, CCaaS, or enterprise technology is a strong advantage
- PC proficiency; strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI/analytics tools
