Role Overview
Responsible for providing accounting, finance, and analytical support in the verification, control, and processing of work activities. Prepares financial statements, analyses, reports, and data requests for management, internal departments, and external entities.
What You Will Do
Complete day-to-day activities, calculations, reconciliations, and analyses necessary to perform periodic financial accounting closes. Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure proper accounting and supporting documentation are recorded.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must possess a working knowledge of accounting fundamentals principles at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or professional certification desired.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals principles
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Two years’ related accounting/finance experience
- CPA or professional certification desired
- JD Edwards and utility accounting experience
