Role Overview
We’re seeking a Vice President in Algorithmic Trading to operate, maintain and optimize low-latency applications that connect to stock exchanges, commodify and derivatives markets, SI’s and other locations of trading in securitized instruments.

Contribute to the function through a range of operational activities and project tasks, developing an understanding of the business and operating environment.

Requirements
- Ability to engage with the broader team, communicate goals, tasks and deliverables in 1-1 and team meetings.
- Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
- High standards for quality of work and accuracy, solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a UNIX / Linux environment
- Moderate Python OR Perl scripting skills, ability to write shell one-liners or 10-15 lines of code for generic data processing, Regex knowledge
- Experience in performing basic network testing / troubleshooting (TCP/UDP)
- Experience in automation / DevOps, CD/CI, agentic tooling
- Knowledge of financial protocols (FIX, ITCH) or experience working in low latency- and trading environments is an advantage
- At least 6 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
