Role Overview
Mozilla Finance is responsible for strategic resource allocation, overseeing day-to-day financial operations as we scale our mission impact with new and existing products, technology, and business models. The Senior Financial Analyst will execute the recurring planning, reporting, and analysis that supports this portfolio.
What You Will Do
Prepare the Core Services forecast each cycle, assemble the monthly budget update, partner with Accounting through monthly close, maintain headcount tracking, track vendor and cloud spend, apply AI and automation to recurring work, and support Core Services teams day to day.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of work experience in business unit FP&A, corporate FP&A, strategic finance, or a comparable analytical finance role, including hands-on work through a full budget and forecast cycle with close and variance analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in business unit FP&A, corporate FP&A, strategic finance, or a comparable analytical finance role
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills
- Experience with enterprise planning tools (Pigment, Adaptive, Workday, etc.) and accounting systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Grounding in accounting fundamentals, including accruals and the monthly close cycle
- Enough familiarity with cloud cost or FinOps concepts to interpret reporting prepared by a technical team and question what looks off
- Interest in applying AI, automation, and systems thinking to reduce manual effort in recurring finance work
- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and cycle deadlines without loss of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain a variance concisely to a non-finance audience
- Ability to work across functions, distilling detail into structured summaries that leaders can act on
- Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn quickly
