Director, Platform Growth & Ecosystem Marketing

Role Overview

The Director, Platform Growth & Ecosystem Marketing will lead growth across the franchise’s most important external platforms, growth ecosystems, and distribution channels. This leader will be responsible for expanding Minecraft’s reach, engagement, and commercial impact through platform partnerships, gaming retail and digital storefronts, Minecraft Education, China, and strategic ecosystem partnerships.

What You Will Do

The Director will lead a multidisciplinary team of platform marketers, ecosystem marketers, and program managers responsible for strategic planning, partner marketing, storefront growth, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in mobile marketing, platform marketing, ecosystem marketing, strategic partnerships, gaming, technology, or entertainment marketing.
• 6+ years of people management experience leading and developing teams.
• Experience building and managing strategic partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Experience working across mobile, platform, retail, OEM, telecommunications, subscription, and technology ecosystems.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within a complex, matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, business planning, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
