Role Overview

The Business Data Analyst will work as a bridge between business stakeholders and data initiatives, helping ensure that critical business information is accurate, well understood, and supports effective decision-making. The successful candidate will partner with business teams to improve data quality, document business information, support governance processes, analyze business requirements, and help drive adoption of enterprise data capabilities.

What You Will Do

The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to understand their processes, reporting needs, and data challenges. They will gather, document, and analyze business requirements, help translate business needs into practical data and process solutions, and support cross-functional initiatives focused on improving business data and reporting. Additionally, they will assist in documenting business definitions, data ownership, and data lineage, support data quality monitoring, issue identification, and remediation efforts, and help identify data inconsistencies, control gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Management, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, consulting, or related disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business productivity tools
