FP&A Analyst

Role Overview

The role involves supporting the Senior Manager, Business Planning and Analysis, in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis, while partnering with stakeholders across the business to turn financial information into meaningful commercial insights.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities include supporting annual budgets and periodic forecasts, partnering with business stakeholders to understand financial performance, and delivering insightful management reporting.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or a related finance role, with strong financial analysis and modelling capability, and intermediate or above Excel skills.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or a related finance role
• Strong financial analysis and modelling capability, with intermediate or above Excel skills
• Experience using planning, reporting or enterprise finance systems
• Experience developing management reporting and financial insights for senior stakeholders
• Exposure to project finance, project accounting or reviewing business cases
• A sound understanding of accounting principles, including Capex and Opex treatment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confidence communicating and partnering with stakeholders across different areas and levels of an organisation
• A proactive, accountable and collaborative approach, with curiosity to understand the commercial drivers behind business performance
• Exposure to audit, governance or financial control environments would be advantageous
