Role

The Revenue Operations Specialist contributes to revenue growth by supporting systems, reporting, and operating processes that enable Sales, Marketing, and Finance to work from a consistent view of pipeline and revenue performance. This role is hands-on in the CRM and supports clean data, useful dashboards, forecasting inputs, lead-to-revenue handoffs, workflow automation, and sales process adoption.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working across teams. They can translate business questions into clear reporting, practical process improvements, and reliable CRM workflows that help the organization improve efficiency, visibility, and revenue predictability.

The Revenue Operations Specialist contributes to the MuniBilling Value Proposition by:

  • Supporting accurate, consistent CRM data that helps revenue teams understand pipeline health and customer opportunities.
  • Maintaining dashboards, reports, and operational workflows that improve revenue visibility and team execution.
  • Helping Sales, Marketing, and Finance coordinate lead-to-revenue processes, forecasting inputs, and revenue performance reporting.

Essential Functions

  • Support day-to-day CRM administration, data quality, reporting accuracy, and workflow maintenance in Salesforce, HubSpot, or a similar platform.
  • Monitor CRM hygiene and partner with sales team members to improve data completeness, consistency, and process adoption.
  • Build, update, and maintain dashboards and reports for pipeline health, funnel conversion, activity tracking, win/loss trends, and revenue performance.
  • Support pipeline review and forecasting processes by preparing reports, identifying data gaps, and surfacing trends or risks.
  • Assist with lead routing, lifecycle stage tracking, activity capture, attribution, and CRM workflow automation.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders to support lead-to-revenue handoffs and process alignment.
  • Prepare data and analysis to support territory planning, quota planning, capacity modeling, and revenue reviews.
  • Support practical use of AI-enabled tools or automation to improve reporting, pipeline visibility, workflow efficiency, and data quality.
  • Document recurring processes, reporting definitions, CRM standards, workflow changes, and user guidance.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve consistency, and strengthen revenue operations processes across the customer lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with leadership to translate revenue data and operational findings into clear insights and recommended next steps.
  • Support CRM user adoption by helping clarify process expectations, report definitions, and data-entry standards.

  • Comfort learning and applying automation or AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and visibility.
  • Sound judgment when handling sensitive customer, sales, financial, and performance data.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, CRM Administration, Revenue Analytics, or a similar function in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Hands-on experience using or supporting a CRM such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or a similar platform.
  • Ability to build or maintain reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and operational trackers.
  • Comfort working with sales, pipeline, customer, and revenue data.
  • Understanding of sales pipeline stages, lead management, forecasting inputs, and common revenue metrics.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to document workflows and recommend improvements.

Preferred:

  • Experience with CRM workflows, automation, lead routing, data enrichment, or sales engagement tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled sales, reporting, forecasting, or productivity tools.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, pipeline reviews, territory planning, quota planning, or revenue planning processes.
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools or advanced spreadsheet analysis.
  • Prior experience in a B2B, SaaS, technology, professional services, GovTech, PropTech, utility billing, or recurring-revenue environment.
  • Salesforce, HubSpot, or related CRM certification.
