Role Overview

The Sales Manager will lead and direct the sales team to meet assigned department targets. They will analyze sales data, develop plans to address performance gaps, and ensure high customer satisfaction. The role involves market research, attending trade shows, and staying informed of new products and services.

What You Will Do

The Sales Manager will set sales quotas, develop sales revenue plans, and assist sales staff with organizational skills, account strategies, and administrative responsibilities. They will also communicate with the purchasing department, forecast product shortages, and oversee the sales of limited-availability products.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in Japanese food industry is required and minimum of 1 year of managerial experience.
  • Business level English preferred – Read/write/speak/listen.
  • Business level Japanese; Native level Japanese preferred – Read/write/speak/listen.
  • Has a valid driver license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and afterhours as needed for Company and department related events.
