Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analytics

Role Overview

The Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analytics will be a key contributor in the overall business supporting the Organization’s NHL, Arena, and Sabertooth Sports & Entertainment business units. The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive data analysis skill set along with experience in identifying trends and opportunities for business improvement.

What You Will Do

Contribute towards maintaining and growing the reporting portfolio across the organization, create efficiencies into data and reporting strategies, execute reporting initiatives and data science projects, and leverage advanced data analytics and statistics to answer complex business questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a consistent track record of professional and personal achievement
• 0-12 months professional experience with a professional sports team, league, agency, promoter, or arena environment
• Ability to write queries using SQL
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with data visualization, preferably Tableau
• Experience interacting and leveraging Artificial Intelligence tools to optimize workflows
• Ability to construct and communicate outputs from statistical models and algorithms
• Understanding of ticket operations and price code nomenclature development
• Familiarity of CRM system operations a plus
• Google Analytics 4 experience a plus
• Exceptional ability to use PowerPoint, Canva or other presentation tools to effectively communicate findings a plus
• Must be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions
• Ability to maintain and grow their knowledge base, inclusive of self-teaching
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
