Role Overview

Performs various duties within the Micro Market and vending machines, including functionality and operation of machines, availability of products, and maintenance of machines. Sells general merchandise to customers, exercising professional selling techniques, and provides service that anticipates and exceeds customer expectations.

What You Will Do

Maintains Exchange owned machines and Micro markets daily, inspects and replenishes products, ensures dates regarding product shelf-life, and removes aged foods or other merchandise from machines and or micro market. Greets and engages customers in conversation, assists customers in the selection of merchandise, and suggests additional items to complement the customer’s selections.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must possess a valid state driver’s license, pass appropriate background checks, and pass the GSA defensive driving course. Must have one year of progressive responsible clerical office or retail sales work, or half-year of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for each 6 months of general experience requirement.

  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license
  • Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to operate a motor vehicle safely
  • Must be able to pass appropriate background checks needed for the specific area of responsibility
  • Must pass the GSA defensive driving course
