Business Operations Manager, Local Media

Role Overview

The Business Operations Manager, Local Media, supports the day-to-day operational execution of the NBA’s Local Media organization. Reporting to the Business Operations Lead, this role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional initiatives, maintaining operational processes and systems, supporting financial and vendor operations, and ensuring organizational priorities are executed efficiently.

What You Will Do

Coordinate day-to-day operational initiatives, support the implementation of department processes, develop and maintain project plans, operational trackers, status reports, and other departmental documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years of experience in Business Operations, Project or Program Management, Consulting, Media Operations, Finance, or a related field
• Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and supporting teams with multiple concurrent projects and priorities
• Experience developing and maintaining operational processes, project plans, trackers, reports, and documentation
• Experience supporting financial operations, including budget tracking, invoice processing, expense reporting, procurement, or vendor management
• Experience preparing presentations, reports, and briefing materials for senior leaders
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving business environment
• Experience within sports, media, entertainment, technology, or another operationally complex organization preferred
