Senior Financial Analyst – NBC Sports

Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in the day-to-day management of Sports Production finances, including payment, tracking, budgeting, and forecasting. The role will collaborate with the Sports Production and Operations team to budget, track, and complete analysis on NBC Sports’ programs.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include actively involved in Production Budget processes, assisting with annual budget efforts, and owning accounts payable responsibilities for assigned sports. The role will also participate in regular financial update meetings with operators and prepare and provide financial analyses to operators.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and 3+ years of finance, accounting, or business analysis experience. Strong technical aptitude, analytical skills, and ability to build effective cross-functional relationships are also required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 3+ years of finance, accounting, or business analysis experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience using formulas and functions
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability and willingness to learn new systems and tools
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to build effective cross-functional relationships and partner with stakeholders across the business
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
