Senior Analytics Engineer

Role Overview

Join the Data Science and Engineering (DSE) team at Netflix to use data, analytics, and sciences to improve various aspects of the business. The New Content Experiences team focuses on introducing new content types and innovative experiences to the product. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will lead end-to-end product analytics for the space, partnering closely with stakeholders from Product and Technology to inform product, design, and engineering strategies.

What You Will Do

You will partner directly with stakeholders on data, metrics & analytics initiatives, lead end-to-end development of analysis and tools, analyze and interpret data to provide valuable insights, and collaborate with data engineering and data science teams to ensure data quality and integrity.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in a data analytics or data science function
• 5+ years of experience in leveraging technical skills in manipulating large data sets with complex SQL and Python (or similar languages), big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), and visualization tools
• Experience managing stakeholders’ asks, expectations, and relationships across a variety of stakeholders
