Role Overview
The New Balance Retail Financial Analyst will bridge the gap between retail store operations and retail finance by driving inventory control and delivering payroll and SG&A analysis.
What You Will Do
Coordinate inventory control, reconcile and finalize retail store physical inventory counts, investigate aged or unmatched inventory invoices, execute and maintain recurring payroll reporting, audit SG&A expenses, and prepare and distribute performance, visibility, and exception reporting to regional leadership.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 2-4+ years of experience in finance or accounting; retail industry experience is a plus
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle Cloud, Microsoft D365, Spotfire, and Power BI
- Self-driven with a strong work ethic, organization skills, and reliability
- Sense of urgency with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail finance environment
- Team player with the ability to build impactful relationships with peers, store teams, and cross-functional partners
- Analytical Thinking: Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to investigate missing line items, unexplained variances, and recurring process issues
