Role Overview
The Deputy Director of Financial Operations will oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, manage a team of staff members, and drive process improvement initiatives. The role requires a dynamic, experienced, and detail-oriented individual who can advocate for process improvement, transparency, teamwork, and high-quality work product.
What You Will Do
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable operations, managing a team, and driving process improvement initiatives. They will also be responsible for conducting monthly and year-end accounting closings, leveraging data and analytics tools, and serving as a key liaison with vendors and senior leadership.

Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business, or public administration
- Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research
- Eighteen months of experience in an executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory capacity
- Supervision of staff performing professional work in areas such as budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research
