Role Overview
The Senior Data Analyst will support the Policy Bureau’s data-driven research and oversight work by applying rigorous quantitative analysis to advance the Comptroller’s policy priorities. The role will build on existing datasets and leverage proprietary data to conduct high-quality analysis that informs policy development and addresses complex challenges facing New York City.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include conducting data-driven policy analysis, collaborating with policy staff to translate complex findings into clear insights, designing and executing analytical workflows, and contributing to the development of an internal catalogue of datasets.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 3 or more years of professional experience in data analysis, quantitative research, or analytics in government, academia, or a public policy or nonprofit organization
