Insightful, powered by NewsBank, inc., is looking for an Account Executive to hunt for new business in the Higher Education and Healthcare Foundation Markets. Insightful is a new software that helps nonprofits know more about their donors and the topics they care about to improve philanthropic engagement.
You will use your sales and communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospects and customers, uncover their needs, win new customers, and secure renewals. If you are entrepreneurial, motivated, results-driven, and a team player, we’d like to meet you!
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
- Drive new sales, upgrades, and maintain renewals
- Building account strategy and territory plan
- Uncover customer needs
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Identify and use effective prospecting strategies to connect with Insightful prospects
- Achieve daily and monthly activity and lead metrics
- Maintain data health management
Requirements
- 3-5 years proven success achieving or exceeding sales quotas
- Consultative Selling experience
- Ability to sell on value vs. technical functionality
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A positive attitude
- Attention to detail
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
