Data Scientist

Role Overview

As a data scientist, you will work in the Data & Analytics team to collect business requirements, deliver effective data insights, and develop data visualizations. You will analyze business performance, build prediction models, and develop time series models for e-commerce applications.

What You Will Do

You will find trends, anomalies, and outliers in sales, customer, and operational data, explain what’s behind it, and develop, validate, and monitor time series models. You will also work closely with data engineers to expand existing data sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or a similar field
• At least 2 years of experience in data science
• Confidence in applied statistics (hypothesis tests, regression, uncertainty analysis)
• Practical machine learning experience
• Good SQL knowledge, including analytical/window functions, query optimization
• Experience with data warehouse architectures
• Experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code or similar tools
• Ability to deploy data or ML solutions in production environments
• Good level of German and English language skills
