Senior Data Scientist I

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist I, you will independently design analysis plans, develop data pipelines, models, and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will create visualizations to support data analysis and stakeholder communications, and proactively seek out quality and efficiency improvements. You will collaborate with department stakeholders, lead smaller projects, and provide informal guidance to colleagues.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in data science or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Advanced experience in project management, data analysis, and programming in Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Experience working in cloud-based environments such as AWS
• Experience in trending and visualizing data in Tableau or similar BI tools
