Role Overview
The Financial Analyst for Corporate Accounting will work on account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement analytics, and management reports. They will interact with various corporate departments and assist with audits. The role requires a strong understanding of government contract accounting regulations and cost accounting standards.
What You Will Do
The Financial Analyst will prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement analytics. They will also assist with audits, SOX, DCAA, and IRS audits, and maintain documentation to support statement of work.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government contract accounting regulations and cost accounting standards. They will also have experience with SAP and/or Hyperion Financial Management, and strong time management and organization skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 4 years of relevant work experience
- Master’s degree or CPA may be traded for 2 years of experience
- Public accounting experience, IF directly relevant, may count for up to an additional year of experience for each year of relevant experience
