Role Overview
The Marketing Manager develops and implements program marketing strategies to drive adoption of energy-efficient products, services, and practices in the market. They work closely with NEEA’s Program Management team to ensure marketing best practices and measure effectiveness.
What You Will Do
The Marketing Manager will drive marketing strategy, develop annual integrated marketing plans, and optimize marketing efforts. They will also identify marketing opportunities, develop consumer messaging, and partner with stakeholder relations and corporate communications teams.

Requirements
- BA or BS degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 8+ years of professional experience in business-to-business (B2B) marketing, communications, and brand development/management
- Intermediate level of expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience with all aspects of marketing communications (e.g., messaging, collateral, PR, web, social marketing, advertising)
- Ability to interpret market trends, research, and business results and translate them into marketing strategies
- Proven ability to ideate and incorporate fresh approaches and technology solutions to improve marketing program design, implementation, and management
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively
- Demonstration of superb group presentation skills
- Ability to edit marketing plans and materials with consistently clear and strategic feedback
- Demonstrated short- and long-term business and market planning skills
- Ability to align marketing initiatives with strategic goals and anticipate both barriers and opportunities
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities while remaining flexible and enthusiastic about supporting the program team and goals
- Strong expertise in directly managing marketing projects as well as directing contractor staff on program deliverables
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage the resources available
- Experience leading RFPs as well as hiring and managing marketing contractors to implement assigned projects
- Strong interpersonal and judgment skills to work collaboratively and influence team members and contractors to implement marketing plans
- Ability to work successfully on cross-functional teams, exercise discretion, and resolve competing priorities, as well as resolve conflict when needed
- Ability to skillfully gather data, analyze information, and recommend changes in direction as needed
- Ability to resolve complex problems with creative and alternative solutions
