Role Overview
The Associate Director, Data Science role is a hybrid position responsible for providing advanced data analytics, reporting, artificial intelligence enablement, and project management support to the J&J Regulatory Compliance organization and its stakeholders.
What You Will Do
The role will leverage analytical platforms such as Alteryx and Tableau while embedding artificial intelligence into reporting, analytics, and decision-support workflows. The role will identify, design, and implement responsible AI capabilities to strengthen risk management, accelerate reporting, and enable continuous business improvement.

Requirements
- Strong Alteryx workflow experience
- Broad experience with computerized systems, data analytics, reporting tools, and AI-enabled technologies
- Undergraduate degree in data science, computer science, artificial intelligence or a related field
- Experience creating visuals in Tableau and using other data analytics and reporting tools
- Demonstrated experience applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, or intelligent agents to reporting, analytics, workflow automation, risk identification, or decision-support use cases
- Knowledge of responsible AI principles and governance practices
- Experience evaluating, testing, implementing, and monitoring AI-enabled solutions across the solution lifecycle
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare industry experience
- Functional knowledge of and experience in Quality and/or Regulatory Compliance
- Experience with successful project management from inception through delivery
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and change management skills
- Ability to work as a team member and team leader when required
- Ability to successfully support quick-turnaround requests
- Proven track record of organizational engagement and collaboration across functions and at all levels
- Technical capability to solve complex problems
