Senior FP&A Manager

Role Overview

Boston Legacy FC is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to own the Club’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting function. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role serves as the analytical engine behind the Club’s business and sporting decisions.

What You Will Do

Build the Club’s planning cadence, reporting infrastructure, and financial business partnership model from the ground up, working closely with department heads across ticketing, partnerships, marketing, community, sporting, and operations to understand their businesses, pressure-test their plans, and hold them to their numbers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience with a substantial portion in FP&A
• hands-on ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• experience in professional sports, live entertainment, media, or a similarly seasonal, event-driven business is strongly preferred
• expert-level Excel and financial modeling skills
• strong working knowledge of accounting principles
• experience with ERP and planning tools (for example, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar)
• proven ability to serve as a trusted business partner to non-finance leaders
• exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy
• strong communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus
