Role Overview

The Data & Analytics Engineer will work with cross-functional teams to improve and optimize semiconductor development flows and compute utilization across NXP. This role will involve developing and operating data pipelines, working with demanding customers, and delivering solutions that anticipate requirements.

What You Will Do

Typical work will involve using the AWS cloud platform to develop, automate, and maintain data pipelines feeding operational analytics, opportunity analyses, forecasting, and prediction engines.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for a candidate with at least 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role, with skills in cloud data platforms, big data reporting pipelines, and strong SQL skills.

Requirements

  • Development and operation of ‘big data’ reporting pipelines, from source to end-user
  • Cloud data platform experience, AWS preferred
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience in cleaning and rationalizing data
  • History of drawing and presenting conclusions from complex data sources
  • Strong python scripting language skills, experience with Pandas and Boto3 libraries desirable
