Role Overview

Supports financial operations and administration of New York Life Agents Reinsurance Company and its parent company, NYLARC Holding Company, Inc. Combines financial analysis, accounting, and administrative support, with an emphasis on accurate reporting and practical improvements to recurring processes.

What You Will Do

Prepare recurring financial and operational analyses, write and update SQL queries, use Databricks for data preparation and validation, prepare and update dashboards and reports, perform data-quality checks, and identify repetitive manual steps for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• 2+ years of relevant experience in finance operations, accounting, financial analysis, or a related analytical role
• Working knowledge of SQL, including selecting, joining, and aggregating data and checking query results
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and data validation
• Understanding of journal entries, account reconciliations, financial controls, and basic financial analysis
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and clear communication
• Ability to manage assigned deadlines, work collaboratively, and recognize when guidance is needed
