Data Engineer

Ofload is a FreightTech company that leverages technology, data, and strategic partnerships to connect customers with smaller, highly efficient transport operators. They’re looking for a Data Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer to build a best-in-class AWS data platform that powers Data Science and BI capabilities, helping to unlock smarter decision-making across the business and industry.

Requirements

• Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines using AWS Glue and modern cloud tooling
• Develop and optimise data models and AWS-based warehousing solutions for analytics and machine learning use cases
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science and BI teams to ensure high-quality, accessible and trusted data
• Deploy and manage machine learning models in production using AWS SageMaker
• Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability and cost efficiency
• Implement monitoring, observability and logging across data and ML pipelines
• Support feature engineering and model optimisation alongside Data Scientists
