Role Overview
The Business and Market Data Analyst will play a key role in profiling the activities of the Investment Management Division by reporting on the success and impact of Division initiatives and core work processes. The role involves conducting research, collecting and interpreting market data, and supporting special policy projects.
What You Will Do
Key duties and responsibilities include market research, data collection and preparation, analysis, and reporting. The analyst will work with division staff to identify, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative market research, and present research findings to the Division management team and senior staff.

Requirements
- University degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline
- Experience working with data analysis and visualization skills with data science tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Python, and SQL
- A minimum of 3-5 years of intermediate-level experience in the financial and/or regulatory sector, performing a similar function
- Knowledge of the Canadian securities regulatory environment
- High proficiency in the MS Office suite of products
