Energy Business Growth Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Energy Business Growth Lead to support Opdenergy’s growth strategy across existing and selected new European markets.

What You Will Do

Identify and assess growth opportunities across existing and selected new European markets. Originate investment and development opportunities through local networks, partnerships and direct engagement with market participants.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in business development, strategic growth, project development, investments or related roles within the renewable energy sector
• Previous experience within renewable energy developers, IPPs, utilities, infrastructure platforms, investment firms or energy-focused advisory businesses is mandatory
• Strong understanding of European renewable energy markets, including their regulatory and commercial frameworks
• Proven experience assessing new markets, developing market-entry strategies and identifying growth opportunities
• Established network of relationships with developers and other relevant renewable energy industry stakeholders in one or more European markets
