AI Automation Engineer

Role Overview

Opvia is hiring an AI Automation Engineer to support a growing UK consumer brand. The role involves turning manual business processes into reliable automations, building useful internal tools, and helping teams adopt AI in their everyday work.

What You Will Do

Identify repetitive tasks, build and maintain automations using n8n, Make, Zapier, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, and develop AI agents that retrieve information and complete multi-step tasks.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience delivering working automations, internal tools or AI applications
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or a comparable AI coding tool
• Practical experience with n8n, Make or Zapier
• Ability to write, understand, debug and maintain Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs, webhooks, JSON and authentication
• Experience using LLM APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI or Gemini
