Principal Database Growth Product Manager

Role Overview

The Principal Database Growth Product Manager will own database services globally and be responsible for increasing consumption of Oracle Database Cloud services through field engagement and sales enablement. The role requires a strategic and tactical approach to define and implement the growth strategy of Oracle Database Cloud offerings, including identifying market segments and partners that represent growth opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical ability to solve complex business and technology problems, excellent communication and content creation skills, and the ability to learn new concepts and ideas. Responsibilities include working with product management, marketing, and sales teams to develop key differentiation and success factors, creating customer-facing content and sales enablement, and performing win-loss analysis.

Requirements

• 8 or more years of product management, business development experience, or sales experience in enterprise computing, cloud technologies, and database technologies
• BS / MS or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, MIS or related technical degree
• Excellent analytical abilities, with a passion to solve complex business and technology problems
• Experience working closely with sales and business development teams to support activities related to the growth of the product in the market
• Excellent attention to detail and strong experience working closely with internal teams to drive the entire product life cycle process
