Risk Data Analyst

Role Overview

As a Risk Data Analyst, you will be part of Pagaya’s Risk Management team, analyzing, reviewing, and mitigating risk in decision-making processes across the company. You will support fair lending lifecycle, maintain regulatory compliance reporting, and partner with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement less discriminatory alternatives.

What You Will Do

You will own end-to-end data products, translate complex data models into actionable business intelligence, and clearly communicate complex findings to partners, internal stakeholders, and management. You will also leverage AI-driven tools to automate workflows and drive operational efficiency across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience processing and analyzing data using Python (pandas, seaborn, etc.)
• 5+ years experience in banking, finance, or other relevant data-driven roles within an international organization
• B.A/M.A/MBA graduate (Economics, Statistics, Finance or similar quantitative disciplines)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record of identifying operational deficiencies, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing effective, sustainable mitigation strategies
• Very high level of English (verbal and written), including the ability to write and present articulated documentation and processes in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and get things done
• Proven aptitude for independent learning and a strong capacity to translate new knowledge into practical, day-to-day organizational value
