Role Overview

Join Pattison Food Group Ltd. as a Data Analyst 2 to gather, analyze, and deliver data-driven insights to support business decisions. This role works collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze complex datasets and identify opportunities to improve business performance.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with business stakeholders, analyze large datasets, develop and test hypotheses, write and optimize SQL queries, use Python for exploratory data analysis, and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science
• Advanced SQL skills, including experience querying, transforming, analyzing large datasets and performance tuning
• Strong Python programming skills for data analysis, automation, and statistical testing
• Experience applying statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design principles
• Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including forecasting, predictive modelling, and machine learning concepts
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
• Familiarity with cloud-based data environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, or other big data technologies is considered an asset
