Digital Operations Agentic Lead – Senior Manager

Role Overview

The Digital Operations Agentic Lead – Senior Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and scaling agentic AI systems across Pfizer’s manufacturing network in support of the Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) operating system. The role leads the delivery of production-grade AI agents that access knowledge, synthesize information, support decision-making, and execute work alongside manufacturing colleagues.

What You Will Do

The role involves leading the definition and delivery of agentic AI experiences for manufacturing, rapidly prototyping and mocking agent experiences with customers and manufacturing SMEs, and transforming manufacturing knowledge and SME expertise into reusable, scalable intelligence assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in manufacturing or regulated operations environments (pharma/biotech, medical devices, or similar)
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and team development
• Strong product and project management skills with demonstrated delivery experience
• Experience defining and delivering AI-enabled products (e.g., copilots, decision support, agents)
• Experience operating within formal quality systems and change control, with strong documentation discipline
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at multiple levels
