Data Scientist (ML)

Role Overview

PhonePe is seeking a highly analytical and driven Data Scientist to join our team. This role requires a minimum of one year of professional experience and a robust foundation in scalable machine learning implementations.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to address business problems and improve organizational performance. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in large and complex datasets.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or related analytics roles

• Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning)
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating databases
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
• Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and handle data preprocessing challenges
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
