Role Overview
The Sales Manager serves as the business manager for their perspective plant, responsible for revenue generation in plant sales and key accounts within a geographic area or market. They work with the plant scheduler to sell excess product, coordinate with the Sales Director on long-term sales strategy, and maintain knowledge of the markets operated in along with a deep understanding of market trends.
What You Will Do
The Sales Manager directs the flow of information for sale activities and transactions, evaluates data to ensure area goals are met, and identifies unprofitable processes and products through gap analysis. They also meet with key clients, maintain relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
