Role Overview
The Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Unit is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our specialized team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with fellow financial analysts to support the Eighth District’s regulatory application review process.
What You Will Do
As an M&A Financial Analyst, you will independently manage a caseload of application and notice filings from initial intake and acceptance through comprehensive review, analysis, and final disposition.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, business administration or similar fields of study or commensurate experience
- 7 years’ related experience (e.g., financial analyst, bank examiner or similar positions)
- Specialized knowledge of activities closely associated with M&A work (e.g., banking, banking regulations, accounting guidance, law, or related areas)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize information
