Data Engineer

Role Overview

Contribute to the unlocking, structuring, and making available of data within the PLUS data platform. Ensure data is reliable, timely, and scalable available for both internal teams and external customers.

What You Will Do

Build, manage, and improve the PLUS Data Platform, develop future-proof data solutions, monitor performance and stability, and ensure timely and optimal data streams.

You are curious, innovative, and pragmatic, with experience in database concepts and architectures, and knowledge of SQL, Python, ETL/ELT development, Azure, and Databricks.

Requirements

• Background in (technical) business administration, computer science, econometrics, artificial intelligence, or mathematics, or proven experience in the field
• Knowledge of and experience with SQL and Python, ETL/ELT development, Azure, and Databricks
• Experience in working in a SCRUM setting
• Experience in retail and with SAP is a plus
• Fluent command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing
