Data Scientist (TS/SCI w/ FSP)

Role Overview

Praescient Analytics is looking for a Data Scientist to join our team in support of an Intelligence Community agency. You will process, analyze, and visualize complex, large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to deliver actionable intelligence insights and executive dashboards that drive critical customer decision-making.

What You Will Do

Preprocess, analyze, and transform complex structured and unstructured data into clear, actionable analytical findings and executive dashboards. Apply statistical modeling and data science techniques to identify trends, complex patterns, challenges, and operational opportunities.

You will support database management, gold-standard dataset creation, data cataloging, and metadata management across diverse domains (socio-political, economic, military). Conduct ad-hoc analytics and research to augment existing analytical tradecraft and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field)
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analytics
• Minimum of 5 years of experience using Python or R with relevant data libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL querying and relational/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing time-series data and creating data visualizations/dashboards (including Tableau)
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
