Financial Analyst Journeyman

Role Overview

Supports customer needs in financial management, providing solutions in Digital Transformation, Advanced Engineering, Physical Sciences Research, Platform Lifecycle Support, and Technical Services.

What You Will Do

Performs managerial/cost accounting, budgeting, funding execution, manpower management, workload, acquisition, document management, system support, and financial analyses.

Must be able to analyze impacts of budget marks, understand FMS Case development, execution, reconciliation, and closure, and have experience in Navy ERP, DSAMS, MISIL, and other DoN financial automated accounting & budgeting systems.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• Six (6) years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
• Associate’s Degree plus Four (4) years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree
• A Journeyman level person within a labor category has Three (3) to Ten (10) years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
• A minimum of four years professional experience demonstrated in DoD FMS financial management.
• In-depth understanding of FMS Case development, execution, reconciliation and closure, to include P&As, LOAs, case implementing documents, financial systems, types of funding documents and various types of procurements.
• Experience in Navy ERP, DSAMS, MISIL, and other DoN financial automated accounting & budgeting systems.
• Knowledge of FMS financial policies and procedures
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
