Data Analyst IV

Role Overview

The Data Analyst IV will serve as Product Owner for analytics and reporting products, partnering with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop delivery roadmaps. They will lead business discovery and requirements gathering sessions, translate business requirements into product backlogs, and manage prioritized product backlogs.

What You Will Do

The Data Analyst IV will design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, analyze and transform data, develop and optimize SQL queries, and utilize Python to automate data processing. They will also perform detailed data analysis, conduct data integrity assessments, and support modernization and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science
• 6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, business analysis
• 2 yrs product ownership, or related roles
• 2 yrs Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and product management practices
• 2yrs Experience with Power BI, including Data Modeling, DAX Measures and Calculations, Power Query, Dashboard and Report Development, Performance Optimization
• Strong SQL skills with experience working with large and complex datasets
• Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience working with enterprise data environments and cloud-based analytics platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to connect business requirements to data solutions
• Experience documenting business requirements, process flows, user stories, and data specifications
• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Enterprise Risk, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Regulatory Reporting, or Governance reporting
• Strong understanding of risk management concepts, including credit risk, market risk, and risk reporting processes
• Experience serving as Product Owner, Product Manager, Senior Business Analyst, or Delivery Lead in an Agile environment
• Experience leading cross-functional change initiatives involving business and technology stakeholders
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Unity Catalog, and modern cloud data platforms
• Familiarity with Alteryz, Visio, Power Query, Power Pivot, and advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience developing executive presentations, strategy papers, and leadership communications
