Data Analyst – Sustainability & Business Intelligence

Role Overview

Proforest is a dynamic mission-driven organization with a global presence that works on sustainable production and sourcing of natural resources. The Data Analyst will work on sustainability and supply chain data analysis, data visualization, and technical consultancy.

What You Will Do

Collect and analyze agricultural and forestry commodity supply chain datasets, develop reports and dashboards, and support consultancy projects and client reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Environmental Science, Geography, Geospatial Science, Sustainability, Business Analytics or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience in data analysis, data management, reporting or business intelligence
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, data cleaning and analysis
• Experience extracting, validating, cleaning and consolidating real-world datasets from multiple sources
• Understanding of data structures, data quality and basic analytical techniques; ability to investigate discrepancies and interpret results
• Clear English communication, attention to detail, problem-solving ability and effective collaboration
