Role Overview

The candidate will be required to assess and analyse IMDA’s regulated markets in relation to licensing and related policy matters, supporting IMDA’s vision to empower the info-communications sector.

What You Will Do

Develop and review licensing policy and regulatory frameworks, evaluate licence applications, implement licensing policy and regulatory frameworks, and handle industry queries on licensing-related matters.

Background in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration or Engineering, or other related disciplines, with at least 2 years of work experience in the telecommunications, postal, data centre and/or cloud computing sectors.

Requirements

  • Background in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration or Engineering, or other related disciplines
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the telecommunications, postal, data centre and/or cloud computing sectors, or related sectors
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to integrate both strategic imperatives and implementation considerations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Resourceful, highly-motivated, proactive self-starter with an analytical and creative mind
  • Result and stakeholder-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities
  • Independent officer who can work well in a team and be involved in cross-team projects
